Just wondering... for me, no photography unfortunately.

Saturday for me was house inspections for, and music rehearsal in the morning (for Sunday). Sunday was leading worship at chuch (dave played guitar for me), and also checking out some drums and PA systems for the church.
Basically i just work on the weekends..
so dont have much toime for anything else
^^
Work as in uni schoolwork, or actual work? Smile
no ..
as in ima waiter/barman sorta work ...

uni school work ~_~ ..
i should really do more of that ...
On Sat, I went up to Lake Mountain for a quick day trip to the snow. My bum is really sore now... :x

Had church on Sun - played my friend's Telecaster that I restored (pics are forthcoming)... Oh and I watched 'I, Robot' too... great show... Wink
Your bum is sore from the snow ..
were you show sledding or sumfiin ?
yea - those plastic toboggans aren't exactly comfy, especially when you go over large bumps... Sad
Yeah .. i remember playing with one of thoe once ...
fell off it after goin off a bump ..
and ended up stuck in the snow ..
but thats half the fun of it ^_-
Oh yeah, almost forgot!! On friday night we had a photo scavenger hunt with our youth group - basically split into teams and had a list of photos to take with points assigned to them...

e.g. photo of a group member with a fireman, photo of a group member rubbing a bald stranger's head.. etc.

boy it was so funny! I think i might come up with a similar challenge for shuttertalkers too... that should be quite interesting! Smile

Stay tuned... Big Grin
Friday afternoon was spent stopping the parcel shelf rattling (damn subwoofer)
Friday night was youth group social-- scanveger hunt

Saturday morning was practice at Julians house.

That's what I was doing Sunday morning!!!

Sunday afternoon I worked
Friday night to noon Saturday = work.
Saturday afternoon = BBQ at friend's house... took about 100 shots of gorgeous little girl (see showcase!)
Saturday night to Sunday evening = work.

BTW, if it's noon on Sunday here (EST - same as New York, etc.), what day/time is it down under? (This is something I should know, really, since my Dad is down there frequently for business...)
Depends what side of Aus you are talking about ...

you are 12 hours behind where i am (Perth) ...
and 14 hours behind Sydney ...

so u r 14 hours behind ST ..

this is takin into account daylight savings ^_-
Thanks... I knew it was around the twelve-hour mark, but was never sure which way to go.
basically ..
when its noon there ...
im already seeing the next day ^__^
i bought a cat.

ps. hi i'm new.
Hi and welcome, janey! Great to have you onboard!

What a gorgeous looking thing! Big Grin
her name is momo Smile she is 2 years old, i got her from the cat haven where i volunteer.
He he, hello momo! *waves* Big Grin
I cant stand cats!!!
hey rufus. well i used to be a purely dog person but now i love both. i do volunteer work at the dogs home too! i'd have a dog but my parents won't let me, we don't have the room in the backyard. when i move to the country i'm going to have lots of dogs. lots and lots of rottweilers and boxers. Smile what's your fave breed?
Rufus is not a 'dog-person', he is a dog!

hehe
Yes, that's correct. I am a Jack Russell Terrier Big Grin

My friends are other JRT's, Alsations, Dobies, Rotties and Mastiffs.

JRT's are the best, of course.

My humans used to have two Egyptian cats, brother 'n' sister, but they died years ago. Since then, I've only met miserable fat moggies, which I loathe! :x

My best friend was an Alsation called Cain. He died last year Sad

Now I have a new friend, her name is Poppy. She's JRT/Yorkie/Border/DandyD cross.
I pretend to ignore her sometimes, but we are friends really.
hehehe Smile
Do you ever find your nose getting in the way of the camera when looking through the view-finder?
lol adam... and aren't dogs colour blind too? Big Grin
Actually, dogs are NOT colour blind - they just see in different shades of colours an in a different intensity to us humans.

Also, dogs (particularly those suited to hunting) have eyesight that are very sensitive to movement and hence induces them to chase down the movement source, which lends some truth to the piece of advice not to run when a dog chases you. But I think they don't see too well up close.
