I just picked up a new macro lens (sigma 28-80 f3.5-5.6 II macro) with a 1/2 lifesize ratio . Here's one of my first shots.
I adjusted the levels to black out the background.

This is a nice picture. Well focussed. The subject is not too interesting for me, though. But I'm looking forward to see more shots from you and your new lens.

Good shot. You can really see the glowing wick under the flame. Good demonstration of the macro lens.
