After the flame there was smoke.

Beautiful, and nicely executed! Very classy shot indeed! Big Grin

If you could clean up the bottom right bits (there are a few streaks which can be easily cloned out), it would be great. Another suggestion would be to add a tinge of colour or some artificial lighting to really make things dramatic... Big Grin
Another approach would be to crop out the candle altogether. It's a lovley pirouette.

I like this shot binglefish. The candle works for me. Just a bit more of the curly wisps on top would have been nice.

Yeah, i agree.
But would you believe I got this on the first try! It was hard to know how to frame it before blowing out the candle.

I will definitely be trying some more exposures and frame ups.
Good effort, esp. for a first try. Crop is way too tight as already noted, but keep at it!

Wonderful work of this photographer.... Thanks for the link Smile
Looks good. I too would have liked to see more of the wisp of smoke at the top of the image. Smile

Hey that guy uses insence. What a good idea. With the candle you only get about 1 second before the smoke runs out,

Thanks for the link.
