I like the idea of this pic, and the composition is good to. But, I think the light is a little harsh, and the shadow bugs me.

Very artistic!

For me, the shadow is what stops the rest from turning to stone, once it is exposed to the light, it will turn to stone. Just my imagination when I see the picture.

I cant get rid of the shadow. It's the kerb of the street. Unless I crop.

The new crop improves this shot. I also was disturbed by the black stripe on the original. The tighter crop is better all around.
