That first photo would look great printed very large and framed up. Good work Don. The second one I think is a bit noisy, did you add the noise or was it very dark?

Both are excellent - #1 is particulalry superb. Both look like Dutch Masters - as do some of your other recent things - its the light I think.


Slightly off topic:

I really like this new style that you have been experimenting with recently. It seems much more controlled and pays much more attention to the interplay of light and subject. Just one opinion, of course, but your recent stuff is really looking good. I like this new direction.

That's gratifying to hear, Toad. I have been trying to attend to some of the comments other members have made. I am posting fewer shots and working harder on them. Thank you guys for making me a better member.
