i know this is not the best photo but hey! my little one is sick at the moment so instead of getting up 10 times a night to her i thought i would just get the spare mattress out and sleep in the lounge with her and let the hubby get some sleep on his own Smile she fell asleep and i was watching tv and the light reflecting onto her i thought looked amazing, so there was not alot of light i did a little work on it in photoshop cs but i can't think of what else to do with it any ideas ??

I actually like your unedited one, the noise in the altered one I find disturbing.
Help--I can't get rid of my mistakes. When I posted the image it looked much brighter on my monitor. What happens to it in the website?

I personally like the blue tones. I tried some B&W and didnt mind the look. The noise is another appealing aspect for me.

Anyhow, I tried to build on the blue tones, with diffuse glow. etc etc

Hmmm. mine doesn't seem to want to load. I'll have to use my hosting site instead.

Here's my go. I played with curves and levels and ran through neat image. I liked the blue and the darkness but prefered it without as much grain...

I like what you did with this picture Claire...
Thanks, I also used a small amount of the warming photo filter while in Photoshop that gave it a little different cast.

This picture reminds me of some of the cute baby pictures on calendars that are now collector items.
