I like the color and the composition of this photo. Its an interesting view.
It feels a little shrill to me - I think that is due to a couple of very bright highlights on the tree, sky, and on the rocks on the far shore. I can't help wondering what this would look like if it were underexposed by one stop. On the other hand, that might rob some of the charm and the color from the scene.
On the third hand, the whole thing may just be the crappy monitor that I am looking at this photo on - one of the dangers of the web experience vs an actual print.
Thanks for sharing.

This is a very small image. The size tokenizes it so it looks like a postage stamp or an oriental decoration of some kind. The bright color and the stability of the image really work for me.

BTW: it does look less shrill on my home monitor.

I like it - I think the red of the bridge is very nice and the composition works well. I would probably have left out the flowers in the foreground - they don't really add much to the image. But I guess if you crop it out, it would also take the nice water reflection with it...

Yeah, I tried to get as little of those flowers in the shot as possible. I just need to grow a couple of feet taller and I would've been right hahaha.
The other thing that bugs me (although its less noticeable at this size) is that there is a bird statue under the bridge to the right of the plant roots, just above the reeds, there is an ugly bird statue which I didn't even notice when I was taking the shot, but everytime I look at this photo is jumps out of me.
Thanks for your feedback everyone.

I think the same as ST the flowers in the right corner are not making much... I think you might consider to clone them...you might have a nice grass corner there.... About the statue... sorry I can't see it... but if you don't like it, you can clone it as well
I like the composition...

Russt,
On either end of the bridge there were big ugly construction site-type fences because it had only just been installed and there is no public access. I'll have to go back once they open it up.
Irma, thanks, I'll get my cloning stamp out
