Those are an interesting bunch of cypress snouts. Its often hard to tell the detail of a photo that has been scanned in at low resolution. I'd be interested in this shot when you get photoshop ad can resize it. That will help a lot.
Another option is Adobe Elements. MUCH cheaper and easier to use, with all the same sort of features as PS CS etc.

after looking at it again , there isnt much detail is there. I think its to " busy " .
I am thinking about elements . The budget is getting low so i think that its the best i can do with what i have..

Elements isn't too bad for what you pay - has most of the features that people would need for a fraction of the price.
With your image, I like the interesting looking trees, but I feel they're sort of "hidden" in the image. I think you put it rightly - it's a little too "busy". Perhaps if you recomposed or zoomed in a bit to isolate a stronger subject, it would help bring out the interest.

ok now yall are " Making " me go back out there this weekend . I am going back out there and doing a few different things to see if i can " get it right ".
