I like the idea of what you are trying here Drake, but something seems to be missing, I think it could benefit from more contrast. What process do you use for your conversion to B&W?
Right now i am using Serif 6.0 and just going to a grey scale. Then darken it up and trying to add more contrast . Maybe i should do some more work to it . I really dont know what to do i will play around with it and see what comes about..
Hope you don't mind but was just trying something out: I raised contrast and brightness, burned in some shadow detail, then diffused highlights a bit.[Image: trees.JPG]
naw i dont mind , i really like what you did
Great job, Zig! Big Grin

thanks Irma , I too like what Zig did . Smile
Boy, I must have ben dozing lately...This is yet another thread I'd missed. I like the original photo here quite a lot...has a kind of ghostly feel to it. And I like what Zig did too.....you need to give me some lessons on B&W Zig!
