I like the use of selective color here. Great textures in the petals of the plant.

Hey Shawn... nice shot. I like what you'e done with the selective colouring, but I would suggest using a more stand-out colour perhaps?

Do you mean more yellow? i didnt do anything with the bee just b/w to the flower ?

I think the flowers need a bit more definition. Perhaps a bit darker. I can't seem to upload a modified version I made.

Still prefer the original one, the highlights seem slightly blown in teh 2nd one.

i have to agree with you EB. But i like the yellow in # 2 . ill figure out what i did wrong with # 2 . I think that i can get it right ...

Nice processing Shawn. I think the colour is fine. The softness of the yellow matches the image. The only thing I'd consider is a tighter crop as the bees is lost in the background. Kind of like a needle in a haystack. A crop would make it much more prominent.
