A very sharp dof. I like the fact that my eye keeps looking for more depth to see what is beyond the stamen. However, the image doesn't keep me interrested for long.

I'm intrigued by the new Tokina AT-X 100mm f/2.8 macro, a little less expensive than the Canon (and comes with a hood.) Have yet to see a review though.
oops I am going mad! My 75-300mm is a Cannon the Macro one is actually a SIGMA. Sorry about that...
