I'm finished with my wedding images. I may still do some processing for myself. Here is another shot I'd like some feedback on. The one thing I can personally see that may not be right is the grooms face being hidden but it also could add to the feel of the image.

I think the diffuse glow has been overdone on this shot colin. A bit hot on the bride's gown and the lighting above their head is almost too distracting. I find that if I hand crop it out, I find the glow from the dress becomes the focal point, which is nice. Lastly, I am not entirely taken with the bride's expression. I think perhaps it was caught "in between" where it would be better suited .. that is to say, a second earlier or later would have made the difference.
Any more photos? Looks like a nice wedding.
Thanks Jerry. I was thinking exactly the same things. Except the part about her expression. I Haven't done too much to any other images. I will go through them and pick out a few more for posting.
I'm with Jerry on this one, the top seems to hot to me, the grooms face being hidden doesn't bother me though.
Ok, I'm sorry that this is a useless comment, but seeing the Brides face, I just had to add a caption:
Him to her...... " ................. and after we've done that, you can wash the dishes!"
*LOL*
If that were the comment, she wouldn't be smiling, she'd be getting ready to slap him!
I think a little more of the grooms face needs to be showing, or at least his face needs to be closer to hers for the pose to work. I like the glow effect, if you crop out the light at the top.
Can't wait to see what else you've got
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I knew the top was pretty bright but thought I'd post it as is anyway. I personally am starting to like the idea of him whispering in her ear. This way not having his face showing is ok in my books. I agree with the fact that the brides dress a bit too hot. As for her expression hmmm? I'll have more photos posted then maybe we can answer that one better.

I'll give this shot another go anyway.

Here is a similar photo, same processing.

...and I still need to learn to type more slowly with this wireless keyboard!

Thanks NN. I was actually hoping to save this photo because it was blurred to begin with. :/
