I noticed that the majority of pictures being posted are that of landscapes, scenery, flowers etc.

So, trying to be different, I had some shots taken just now, (2:28am now) I'll post one up just to test the waters. Got a few more where this came from. Variety is good Big Grin oh, and I love cars.

Enjoy

Your picture is really nice! I like the colors and composition Smile
Strong and simple, fire and ice. Good for you.
Excellent!

I mean, it so sharp, clear and precise looking. Very nice indeed. Smile
Very nicely done!

I'd lose the top inch, but this is great; really invites me in to walk around. The door on the left really intrigues and invites too. Improves the more I look at it. Don's comment on fire and ice also woke me up to that "colour clash" which I think really helps the drama and excitement. A belter.
Nice shot of the ride. Can't wait to see more. Smile
I'll post up a few more for now and the rest later if anyone wants Wink

What's better than a Cooper S? 2 Cooper Ss

The first photo's my favourite, but I agree with the cropping suggestion. Another alternative would be less wall and more foreground.

I do like these cars -- and I don't drive. There's a dealership near me though.

A coloured IR photo, taken with a Sony F828 at iso800 without pp noise reduction -- I'm a masochist:

Great shots, I love Mini's. I was the proud owner of a 1966 Cooper S for a few months a long time ago Smile
Thanks for the comments.... I've been thinking about the cropping suggestions on the first pic, but I'm in 2 minds about it, and I can't seem to explain why I like it like this. Can someone explain the reason behind the suggested cropping? Or is it simply personal preference?
I'm thinking the top crop would lose the "fall-off" and redundant space in terms of what the(sorry R3: "my") eye is invited to do within the pic. However, I've held a sheet of paper over my monny, squinted and nor do I like to crop on the grounds of changing the rest of the visual relationships in the shot: (I know mate, I'm firmly on the fence here!) I'd ignore Zig if in doubt!
