Classic shot, Freddy!
Love the facial expression - it's a perfect stand out kind of photo. Well done!

Thank you shuttertalk.
I didn't know if I'd overdone the post processing, but I wanted to take the emphasis away from the background but still leave plenty of room around the frame.

I'd maybe crop top bit down, to top of the guy with the mic's head?
I reckon it's a really successful shot mate: humour, movement, comment; the other background subjects work well to convey setting and "relationship". No shortgage of material in that area too I'd guess!

Thanks guys, I'm chuffed by your comments.
Incidentally, for those who love their soul music, the fella on stage in the top left of the picture is lhe legendary Geno Washington.
I did take a few of him too but none looked as good as she did (no disrespect Mr Washington sir!)

Great capture - this really needs no further explanation beyond the image... A super candid!
Slight critique - the figures on the right including the bald guy and the woman with the yellow purse are a bit distracting. I would select them and darken them up quite a bit - more like the other background figures. This would keep them in place to provide context, but prevent them from consuming the viewer's interest. Also the little arm growing out of her back.
Welcome to Shuttetalk by the way. I have been away traveling for a month and I guess you arrived during my absence!
