Wow, Pete.. this is a spectacular pano indeed.
The fore, middle and background hills as subjects are very good, and there's a touch of colour in the sky too...
Nicely done mate!

I'm fond of colorful skys. But maybe You could have shown the man in the right a bit more. At the moment it looks like he's just accidentally standing there, like a tourist or sth.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Well, that was the whole idea, because you need to slide across using the slider and then suddenly he is there sort of like this http://www.shuttertalk.com/forums/profile.php?id=190
It was a bit of a theme I was trying.
Cheers.

G'day Pete
Good shot (shots)â¦â¦..I really like lookout panoâs. I do find the quarry a bit distracting but I see what you were trying to achieve and why itâs in there.
On a different note I did one my self the other dayâ¦..set the camera to manual to get the same exposure but I had a CP filter on and it came out like it was shot with different settingsâ¦â¦â¦..a bit tricky with that filter.
Cheers Russ

Hi Russ,
Manual with no filters I think is the best way to go, even my Sony V1 keeps the colour and tone, etc pretty well when shot manually, although even then the sky can vary a bit off because you are shooting at different angles to the light source.
