Eye that is... which one do you use to look through your viewfinder?
I generally use my right eye.
Don't know if that's got anything to do with the fact that I'm right handed!!!?
My right eye

~
i think our cameras are designed to use the right eye ..
since the grip for our hand is on the right side ..
makes it sort of hard to use your left eye ...
Haha, I'm short sighted in one eye, so I've got no choice!

hahaha strangely i'm more inclined to use my left eye! even though i'm right handed.

Right eye, every so often I will use a/the LCD tho, mainly used for Reviewing shots tho.
We all have a dominant eye, and that is the one we will use to look through a viewfinder or anything else unless we consciously decide to do otherwise.
If you want to see which is your dominant eye, point your finger at an object in the distance. Now close one eye, then the other. With one eye open, your finger will not stay lined up with the object. With the other it will continue to stay lined up. That one is your dominant eye. For most folks, it's the right eye so right handed cameras make some sense.
I hope that is helpful.
I used to do a bit of roo shooting and am ambidextrous when it comes to that .. so I'm not sure if I do have a dominant eye
horizontal shot left eye
vertical picture right eye
now how easy it would be for cyclops!!!!
I use my right eye most of the time but if it is very glary out I'll switch to the left eye so the camera body cuts out the light in my other eye.
