I went out into the garden in search of texture. Here is what I found....

Good selection of tone and texture... I think tehe shovel would benefit from a closer zoom.
#1 I like the left side of the picture, it really shows interesting texture.
#2 As for me this picture is more focused in the pattern of the trunk than in the texture... perhaps a little bit closer?....
#3 This is very nice... You got the texture of the trunk nicely here. It wouldn't hurt if you sharp a bit.
#4 I agree with Bob... A close up would help more to capture the texture of the rust... I like a lot to work with rusty object... They always have beautiful texture and colors... this combination makes in most of the cases, a very appealing image...

Very interesting subject you are working on.... To photograph and capture the texture of objects is always very interesting, and to feel the texture when you see a picture is a challenge... I reckon that much has to do with the light you have... I also believe that the texture in a picture is a perfect combination of highlights and shadows....

Texture would be a nice topic for an assignment Smile
