Wonderful shots Jeri. Even someone as allergic to the idea of fatherhood as me can truly appreciate them Smile
Lovely light, is it natural?
These are beautiful- but unlike bob I'm a sucker for babies!
What sort of material have you got her on?
How beautiful! Love the soft light and the wonderful pose. Just make me wanna reach out and pat my monitor screen! Big Grin
Thanks all. Schell, I used natural lighting and have her on a flannel blanket. I would like to have had her face in the photo, but the only way she would cooperate is that way. Oh well, many more years and pic opportunities to follow.. Big Grin

Thanks ST!
Any other critiques?
In terms of critique... I think I like the 2nd one better because 1) I can see the baby's ear - dunno, just makes it better, and 2) it doesn't have that almost blown out bit near the head.
Perfect! Thanks Jules. I didn't really notice that spot near the head. I added some diffuse glow to the photos and will go back and burn that spot a bit.
I'd have to say I like the first one better. They are both very adorable. The first shows her left foot more and her arm looks more comfortable tucked under her head than in the 2nd. Big Grin
I thought the same as Colin since the first time I saw your pictures... She looks more comfortable in the first one in my opinion.

So my comment is about #1:I can see a halo in the upper part of her head... like a soft focus halo? also a loss of detail in her hair in the back part. That bare spot in her head is so sweet... I love the detail there... I think it'd look better if the place she's sleeping didn't have many folds and were a bit more even... about her foot in the background... I like it but I would compose it the same way the other one is... The light is great and your conversion is also very fine... I like the composition in the picture...

Greetings to Olivia. Always nice to see her in the forum Smile
