Ain't this picture boring? You should have a look at the
original size, it's even more saddening. It could stand as a symbol for the not so thriving German economy, though.

I wouldn't say boring, the tones and textures say a lot, as does the obvious time that has passed since anything has seen any paint. I like it.
I like it to, Guerito. Well done!
This is pretty cool G. It makes me wonder how the area around the old refrigerator didn't get as stained.
No, extremely interesting in fact, and "grows" on me the more I look at it. A Decisive Moment without people!
I don't think it's a refrigerator... it looks more like an electrical or phone exchange box to me.
Yeah not boring indeed. The textures in the image as well as the various tonal graudations in the wall make it very interesting!
Thanks guys!

Craig is right, it's not a fridge, it's some electrical thingy. And it makes me wonder, too. For how long have they done research on electro smog, and haven't come up with any results as to how dangerous it is for your health. This picture at least shows there is
some effect on the surroundings of the box.
The change in the area could be due to wind deflection or the fact people work in the box, lean on it, sit on it etc.... rather than electricity.
I really like this shot and the relationship between the wall and the foreground. I could see this doing really well in a large square frame matted for the rectangular print.
