Nice.. I like the pose, and the lighting is nice too, especially with the face being evently lit.

The only complaint is the little tassle thing on the hat, which partly obscures his eyes. Unfortunately, in portrait shots, the eyes are usually the thing people look at first.

Yeah, the tassle bothers me too. The sun was pretty harsh and shooting almost straight into it for this shot is about the limit of the rebel's onboard flash. I really need to get a flashgun.

It's a cool shot but I'd have to agree with Jules about the tassle. Good stuff Craig.

His look is great!! He looks really tired and thoughtful... The background is great!! Do you think it could be possible to clone that thing out?

Great stuff; pose, viewpoint, aperture and lighting combine so well(but yeah, I'm waiting for him to blow away the dangly bit there!)

I have a couple more of this guy but that tassle is intrusive on all of them.
