The other day I went to the forest and I found this... I liked this place and I took few pictures from different angles. I think this one is the best one. I worked it B&W because the colors of the foliage were a bit pale... and I couldn't get a nice green... Also because I was losing a lot of detail inside the shelter...

Why does everythink look so clean and polished there? Is there no speck of plastic cuppery or trashery? It looks like luxury vacation all the time and the maids come and sweep every day.

I believe this could use some contrast, Irma.

You may of added contrast, but all texture is gone.

Nice composition Irma, the antlers are in just the right spot.

I like the tones but to me the shed is to prominent. If it were an item hidden in a much larger area of trees it would likely be more apealing. Not sure if I explained it right.
Here is an exaple to help explain better even though it might not be a great shot. I'm just hoping that it helps explain better. Also I might add that, I am likely stating this as more a preference to my liking rather than a proper critique.

The thing Don is that Germany is like this... I've walked a lot of forests already and I have never seen trash in the floor...

Bob, I also liked the detail of the antlers.. I think its a detail that give meaning to the picture

Colin, I had the same idea you show in your picture, unfortunately, when I saw it in the computer, I thought it was too cluttered and I deleted all... It would have been very interesting to make a comparition here... I will try to go again, because the place is wonderful.. I would like to go very early... so I will have better light
