Hi there, this is my first time posting here and I just want to know how people really think of the pictures I take. I mostly take scenic pictures since I go camping fairly often and travel a lot. I hope to look around the site more and become an active memeber.

This picture was taken at the end of September and is of Egypt Meadow Lake in Promised Land State Park, PA. The park is located in the Poconos and one of the trails goes around this lake. My family and I decided to walk off of the trail and create our own, finding this scene in a little cleary where you could see the lake clearly through the trees:

Nice shot, one impreovement I could see would be to use a olariser to deepen the blue of the sky and cut some of the reflection from the water.

Very nice landscape... I like the colors... If it were my picture I would crop the sky which isn't too interesting and I would leave the reflection as it is... The reflection is interesting, adds depth to your picture and you have already there the blue colors of the sky... Also, with this crop you balance your picture with the tree at the upper left, and the grass and stones in the down right corner.
