She's definitely NOT. Love that genuine smile in the 2nd pic.
Pic 1 - fill light too low and too hot. Should be much less intense than the main. Being too low and too close to the lens is what caused the purple/red eye. Also the shadow, which should go down toward the corner of the lips (but not touch); instead it goes up. Great skin tone. Background seems inappropriate for her "look." Something more metal / industrial given the shirt and her personal style.
Pic 2 - white balance too cold. Compare the skin tone with the much warmer tone in pic 1. Background and stool don't seem to complement her.
Pose her on your motorcycle. She'd look absolutely terrific. Not like in the StudioJ pics, but more of an Easy Rider / tough gal sort of way. Play loud rock music while she's posing (Zig can help there!)

Thanks Slej!
I wondered if anyone would see the light height issue. The maximum hight I could get the reflectors to was 4 feet, (a metre and a bit). Not high enough!
I'm trying to get her to realise that she isnt ugly.......... Maybe she doesnt really believe it herself, who knows?
Here's another pic:

You might need to stand on something. Sounds like a Terrier issue to me.

She definitely isn't... make sure you remind her again.

Love that last pic by the way, it's got more of that "wow" quality...

RUF,
Now THAT is a great shot!! Everything is working in this one. Background, composition, attitude of the model, and b&w conversion.
A keeper!

One small item: though it seems that some of the wrinkles are sewn into the shirt, the others could be smoothed out by a quick tug down. Photographer's responsibility? Debatable. But in my opinion the photog should catch these details before the snap.
Otherwise this is excellent. Well done! Nice light and perfect exposure. BG texture really contrasts nicely with the smoothness of her skin.
