Thanks for any comments you have Smile
I like #3 Schel, but would recommend cloning out the cookie crumb. Big Grin

Bet this would nice in b&w with a touch of diffuse.
#1 I think the glass doesn't help much here... It would be better if you had a glass without decoration so your image through it would work better...

#2 I can't get your message here... I can't find a relation in your subjects... sorry Sad

#3 Your picture made me smile... I have a very similar picture, I took time ago.... I like the composition... my problem is the hard shadow in the right corner and the shadow of the glasses on the book... I agree with Jerry about a b/w conversion, and a bit of work with curves to see if you can get some detail in the shady part of the book.

It would be also nice if you took your pictures on a cardboard and not on the tablecloth, its folds and decorations are a bit distracting... on the other hand, it might be part of your message... In that case, please disregard this paragraph.

Hope my comment helps Smile

Irma.
Thanks Jerry, I wish I'd noticed the crumb when I was taking the photo, it really annoyed me when I saw the photo full size!
Thanks Irma, I can see what your saying about the objects...
I was using the objects as I found them sort of a 'still life' snapshot of that particular day if you get my meaning? Just experimenting, its all fun Big Grin
I love "found" photos like these - particularly 2 and 3
I love #2 some crystals there,......

From what I can make out - Rose Quartz, Clear Quartz, an IObsidian necklace, looks to be some Citrine there aswell

Whats the book your reading?
I like the three, but number two is my favourite.

#1 is an interesting idea, but I'm not sure what the intention is. I like the distortion of the background, but a plane glass object would have shown that better than the cut glass. I like the study of the cut glass, but I don't see enough of it to carry the shot, and there's too much extra background. Me being me, I'd love to see how this would look with an incandescent flashlight about 2/3 of the way around to camera right, catching the highlights in a warm glow... but that's simply the way my mind is thinking these days. It probably wouldn't work.

#3... it's nice.

#2 needs to be simplified. It would really grab me if it didn't have the light and dark somethings fighting at the right 1/3 line. I'm not sure what they are, can't really make out any detail, and they don't add any useful line or shape. Remove them, and the OOF stones at the top of the frame, and don't change anything else. This is the image with the best feel for a story.
