Thanks for all of your in put on my decision to purchase a new lens. The 200mm f2.8L arrived week before last but I had to wait till this weekend to use it. My 10 year old was in intensive care due to complications with his asthma and pneumonia, he's OK now!
We made it out to the Renissance Festival and I shot quite a few images. I've posted a few shot with the new lens in my gallery.

At a glance the colours and bokeh look wonderful from your new lens, and the festival looks like it would have been a very interesting event to photograph too!
