Here are seven pictures from my outing today (Friday).
Photographs are supposed to say something, to communicate a message.
The only thoughts in my mind while taking all these pictures was "wow, this looks nice, I want to take it home". So... would these be classed as thoughtless snapshots?
Anyway..
Here they are... can comment on my treatment of the pictures - the positioning of the subjects, or colours, things like that
You can tell that I got carried away with Cir-Pol

Trying to find #7 now.
Love the infared tower!! Well done on all.
Nice, Adam. Very nice. I too like that IR tower.

Carried away or not, you've got some great photos! Love the tower (normal version) - look at that gorgeous blue sky!

I don't think this pictures are snapshots... They are really nice... About colors, I love the effect you got with the cir pol... Perspective and composition are great as well....
Just a minor detail... #1 has a shadow in the stairs... would be nice if you could get a bit more of detail there...
Thanks for the replies, so what would these be classified as? landscape?
I'll try dodging the shadow, or using the symmetry to clone, or since I have the raw file, just process out a lighter one and paste it on.
Hows this for the IR DNA tower, I used unsharp mask and cloned out the tree at the top.
My cloning skills aren't the best, but I think it is OK.
Better?
If better I shall replace the one on my FlickR with this one

All great Adam....I liked the IR tower best too, and I think I actually prefer the second version.

wonderful shots adam!
early morning shoots are my favorite time, not too many people around and it's still cool.
Great shots, Adam! I also think the second version of the tower is better.
I don't know how to classify them, but they would fit nicely in a travel magazine.
no one's mentioned anything about the not perfectly straight horizon in the IR DNA tower - is it not obvious? or its pleasant?

Early morning is so nice because... after shooting for what felt to be a long time, then moving on to Kings Park, when I checked the time to see how long we could park there for, it was only 6am!!! hahaa
I'll replace the picture in FlickR now

Excellent series of photos Adam. Are you using two different cameras? Is one converted for IR?
