The Bible never ceases to be a source of amazement to me. What other book would be so deeply engrossing and new, on the nth read? None.

One passage that I personally have always found inspirational is from the first epistle of Paul the Apostle to Timothy 5:23:

"Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities."
