i was trying to get a 1 st person perspective ( i think thats the right way to say it ). I wanted it look like " you " were playing poker. And of course i had to play with the new thing i learned ( sepia ) LOL. Please tell me what you think.




i took about 15 of this type , and this is the one that i liked best .

Awesome shot Shawn. Very creative. I find your initials a little invasive. The image might be a tad dark but it does add to the mood of the image. Good work.

Great moody shot, really. I like it very much. One thing you could improve IMO is the sharpness, maybe a smaller aperture for deeper DOF?

i was trying to make it a little short , the idea that i had was to make it where you couldnt see anyone else . Kinda of " keep 'em guessing " .

I like a lot your post processing... It has nice contrast and tone...

The picture is great as well...

BD, you have really captured the feel of a sleazy poker game. I like it, good job the tone and feel are great. I reckon I would be callin ya a cheat if you droped that hand down in front of me!!!!!

but..

the cigarett and ashtrait is on the left and the cigarret is pointing to the right and the hand is holding the cards with the right. i think the cigarret should be on the bottom left next to the other chips.

very observant, i missed that and know how it happend . I set the cig down with my right hand while i was holding the cards . Never even thought about the way it was pointing. LOL ..
