I like both of these Don although the second one makes my skin crawl a little. Have you desaturated these? I would like to see both with original colours.

they are not completely desaturate. It was very early in the season. Green leaves weren't appearing yet.

#2 is definately an interesting texture to be sure.
#1 is a theme I have seen you work with a few times - isn't that where there are thousands of spiders under the grass?
I would like to see these an alternate treatment of these 2 textures as well - something with a softer - more flowing look - the extreme sharpness of #1 takes away from its wave-like lines IMO.
