This is good - nice and edgy - just how I like it. What really makes this one is the jagged silouhettes of the branches in the background.

Thanx Toad; Never seen a tree broken in half like this before, until I saw this. Must of been lightning?!

I like the textured gray against the blue sky.

Don't know about that one, but over here snow can snap trees over 3 feet across!

You're both giving me an unnatural fear of splinters...

Possible snow, or perhaps freezing rain..

Great shot, John... even the twigs in the background make it look like the background/frame is cracked...
