Been raining all week. :-( so today my my oldest daughter Jemima got so bored that she asked me to take some pictures of them. So here are a few from our rainy afternoon.

What beautiful kids! 5 & 8 are are my pick - seems to me the colours in your infant daughter's afghan are too dominant, would have liked to see her photographed without it.

G'day Paul, great series of shots, I think Jemima is going to be a model.......she knows how to work the camera So do all your kids for that matter. Your young bloke (Zac?) is a classic, he cracks me up!!

As soon as I bring out my camera my kids go into the stupid face mode (not cute just stupid)

Very nice pictures, lovely. Hard to pic a favorite, but I think 3 and 9 stand out to me.

in some cases I might review the framing, but with kids in action you are not always in full control....

what was your backdrop? it looks like the pictures were backlight, or taken against a very bright background, makes the edges look very crisp and clear, I like that.

Pat:Yes the poncho is quite colorful (to say the least) and might steal to much attention , i quite like it though.

Russt:Thanx, yes latetly she's been very happy when i take a few snaps of her,its come to the point when she ask me to take her picture. . For Zack, well he is another case alltogether. sometimes he want me to take a picture of him, second later he wants me to listen to him explaining some disney movie. he is quite character.

Uli:yes to get Amy our youngest(1 year old) to stand still isnt easy. The gb is white seamless paper, it was lit by two strobes with reflectors, total 4 strobes+ a sheet of foamcore. For pp:curves, usm, resized.

A great series of shots Paul. The lighting and background are perfect. My personal favourite is the last one...So much attitute. Thanks for sharing.

I'm really starting to like the white paper background. Especially with such colourful subjects. I'm betting my animals will "pop" right out on such a colour. Gonna have to give'r a go.

Colin, yes id love to seem some pet shots with a white bg!

At the moment i only have a grey and a white bg (white only a few meters left), im gonna buy a new bg (seamless paper) but i havent decided in what color yet.
