A belter, Pops: engaging subject, full range of tones, thoughtfully-composed...now, there's a chap who learned his craft in the land of emulsion and darkrooms, no?

I like it, Pops - I'm a big believer in tight crops that get at the essence of the subject. The little bits of subject here say a LOT. Well done!

Lovely! I like it - you can clearly tell what it is, depsite the close crop, and as the other have pointed out, it is very engaging.
Haha, I think I can almost see you in the reflection of the eye...

I like it, love the tone and texture in the fur.
Only thing that bothers me is the eye looks to be looking out of the side of the picture, would prefer it to be looking straight at me.

Thanks for all of your comments.
Zig ... sorry but you are out woth this. The only darkroom I'm familiar with is my bedroom at night.
The eye had been following me as I moved around him taking shots. I was crouched down a bit for this one. Also it didn't need much of a crop because I was within a couple of feet at the time.
