Thanks for looking and like i said sorry to bore yall with more portraits ...................Shawn
#1 is a jewel, Drake. The pp on #3 is also pretty good, I think the procesing on #2 looks a little stark for a woman's portrait, but that's just my $.02 - I am not much good at portraits..
3 is brill! Texture and lighting really successful...almost looks like the "cross-processing" effect of developing slide film in C41 print, a bit like a magazine shot from the days people used film!
I must admit I'm often reluctant to comment on potraits as I know very little about shooting them. However, I can comment on my gut reaction to something and I absolutely love #3. the processing is superb and the resulting photo is something very special imho.

I also like the first one, agree with toad the lighting in second one's a wee bit harsh .. but #3 is very memorable, very beautiful ..... and I imagine she's thrilled with it.

Thank Yall so much!!! The first one ( the BW ) is my fav. I am going to hang it on the wall . She really likes all 3 of them so if " If Momma is Happy , I am Happy " Big Grin..

I am still working on the 2nd shot , im not sure its what i was looking for ..... Thanks Again .......... Shawn
I have to agree with all that was said. I think you had to be very careful with #3 not to blow the details too much with the softening. All in all they're all very good.
Love #3 also. here is my effect of my Daughter Tammi; using my newly Acquired fuji s3 pro.[Image: Tammi.jpg]
Thanks Peto and Bored ,

I am glad that yall like these ....

Nice work Shawn - number three for me. The focus is only the face and especially the eyes. In the other two I am constantly drwn to the shoulder.
I agree with the rest of the bunch, 3 is really nice.
I like the composition in 1 and texture and light are nice, only the bright top she is wearing is a little bit distracting.

nice shots! uli
Thanks WS and Uli,

Your comments are appreciated . Im still leaning toward #1 , But i like all 3 a lot , # 3 is more of that Midnight Sepia , her fav. look ..... Thanks again.......
