I saw this and had to shoot .... I just love the classics .
How is the bw conversion? and tell me what else you see might be wrong with it LOL .
thanks for looking ........ Shawn
Nice conversion and great car. It might be nice to see the car in its contect - i.e. more background - but if the background looks too modern - this is the right call for sure.
There is somethings that make it look modern around it . And i might have been able to crop it a little bit different but i think it made the pic look " long " to me . ill post the original and maybe yall can show me a better crop LOL . I SUCK AT CROPPING . just another thing to work on . ( i think maybe in about 50 years i will stop all the learning , but then it wouldnt be so much fun

)
Thanks for the comment

Hi Shawn,
The BW conversion is great. The crop seems to have to much of the driveway at the bottom to me. If you look at the top of the light on the roof it is almost at the top of the frame - where as there is heaps of space between the wheels and the bottom of the frame.
You were probably trying to avoid the more modern stuff around in the top of the frame - but with the conversion I think it would still work. I would try reversing the crop so that the space at the top is at the bottom and the larger space goes to the top of the car - or put the car in the middle.
Here's my take on cropping this image.

Very nice, i think the bw conversion works very well. The bg is to modern, so i prefer your crop.
thanx for sharing.

You better be careful talking about shooting a police car.
Hey I like twclead's version - especially the blurring - makes it look like a 70's shot. If you add a bit a of yellowing too, it would be awesome!
