I think #1 and #2 are both super. I would have straightened #2 slightly - but I know that is not your style. Very well done.

Don - This first shot is brilliant. Its a combination of composition, contrast and symmetry that makes it hard to stop looking at. To be honest, at times I struggle to see your intention with some of your shots. That said, this is one of the best shots I have seen on this site lately. Well done.
I would also like to see a black and white or sepia version...
