Thanks Paul, No it wasn't intentional. I'm not sure what I was thinking as I had my camera ss at 1/200th and my zoom maxed out to 300! Silly girl!
I might see if more agressive USM will help, although its movement blur, so it might not...

I like #2 the best. The context of the hug and your husband (?) grounds the portrait in time and place.

#2 is genius... the eyes really give it the oomph!

Thanks Jules, I love his eyes too- he uses those puppies to good effect too!
