I think Irma had a few images of fungai on here a while back.

I found some very odd looking things in the forest last week.

I have no idea what they are!

I'm not 100% certain without looking in one of the books but that second one, maybe even both of them, look very much like Fly Agaric (Amanita muscaria) .... poisonous, can also be hallucinogenic.

Very beutiful pictures... I have seen them around here as well... they are so beautiful... the only thing I know as well is that they are not for eating..

A TV programme last night was showing the same mushrooms/toadstools.
As Pol said, they are Fly Agaric, and extremely poisonous. If you eat them you are dead.
If you touch them you must wash your hands before you touch anything else.
