Just wonder what you guys think about this picture. It a little off level and I'm not sure if it helps the picture or not. It is a little out of focus I think...
It looks like the focus is on the grass, and it should be on the eyes.
I think there is too much wasted space above her head.
And if it were me, I would wipe her eyes first, or clone.
Other than that it's a pretty kitty, in a nice background.
Gosh, I could take this one home too (the cat

), however have to agree with NT, a tighter crop and a wipe of the eye would make a better pic.
What a sweet little kitty, gotta be careful when using your lens wide open, there's such a small margin of error. Maybe try practicing at smaller apetures, with your focus and gradually open it up?
I love the pose of the kitty... the colors are really beautiful... I like also to have very shallow DOF when I take pictures of Lucky ... they look really sweet... specially because cats have a flat face, so to say, so if you get the eyes sharp the nose and all will be blurred nicely...
I found in the original size a bit of camera shake and the focus is not in the eyes... It is not necessary to have the focus in the eyes... it could be in the whiskers or in the ears or any other part of the body, but as it is a frontal portrait I would recomment to have the focus in the eyes... and this kitty has lovely eyes, btw...
Hope my comment helps...
Everything has been said - but a bit of cloning, cropping and selcetive sharpening will hae this kitty looking just purrrrfect.
Cute kitty. As said, clone the guck from it's eye and remove the empty space from above. You already know the shot is out of focus. Your kitty? Try again. I'd love to see more.
