I visited Christ Church Cathedral, Newcastle with the intention of climbing the tower and taking some photos from the top level, however its been a wild windy day here so I only made it to the floor underneath where the bells are, climbing up the tower was an experience - the stairs were like a corkscrew with no handrails.

This is Newcastle from the harbour, Christ Church is the highest point, you can see the tower



the bells, not quite as large as I expected



the view from the dirty windows, you can see the Stockton Sand Dunes which stretch for 40kms

I kind of like the back and forth perspectives of #1 and #3 when viewed together. With #2, they form a storyline.

Very nice light in the picture of the bells too...

I am getting the bells in fuerteventura in the canaries. Can´t post anything because I don't have the cables, so you have got to wait till next week.
