Another one of my industrial shots in and around Newcastle. This is one taken at dusk of a ship being loaded at the P&O Dock.

It is already very night here, and we have a beautiful starry night. I am trying some night pictures with the naked tree I have in the garden, nothing as beautiful as your picture of course, but still trying...

Thanks Irma, I feel I am getting better at night photography, however there is one problem, some of the shots I took last night are dark, I thought I had plenty of light - I have heard about light meters, should I be using one? at this time of the evening the light changes a lot even in 15 mins.

The few pictures I have taken I have done it manual and testing in the histogram, giving longer or shorter time to my shutterspeed... Maybe someone else could help in your question....

But your are right at that time of the day the changes in light are so fast!

Balmy nights here at the moment as we approach Autumn, even in Winter nights are not too cold!
