Interesting read - tells you about the various technologies that Microsoft Research is working on, in the digital photography and image processing areas.

I think we already see some of them in one form or another - for example "adjustable light" sounds a lot like HDR; "print to digital" - i've seen and used that feature in canon scanners in the past; and "take out the red", "fill it in", "blend it" and "cut it out" all appear as various tools in photoshop.
The digital shoebox media organiser looks pretty cool though...
