Hello,

I've just arrived here today, courtesy of Irma and I'm delighted to say hi!

I am the lucky owner of a Canon 5D and use Photoshop on an iMac. Still very much a novice - so much to learn! In fact I think I've fallen at the first hurdle here as I'm trying to figure out how to install an avatar to no avail. I'm sure it' s staring me in the face, but I can't for the life of me see how do it.....

To change/add an avatar, click on "Profile" in the row of links under the blue "Shuttertalk Forums" banner. You'll find the change avatar option under "Personality".

Welcome Valda.
For the Avatar ..Take a pic you wish to use, Shrink it in photoshop to (maximum) 100 pixels square (or e.g. 100x 80) save for web (no more than 16kb) and save it to your imac.
Then go to Profile - Personality - Change avatar browse for your pic.- tick box- submit and you should then
have your avatar on display.:/
