This is one of those photos where changing the title creates a tremendous difference in the impression of the image. I think you chose well.
Interesting - I am not quite sure what I am seeing here - and I think that is what adds to the ambiguity of the image. Well done!
It appears to be an electricity generating station or part of one.
Near where I live, there was one for years but about 5 years ago they demolished the cooling towers and flattened nearly everything else. What is left looks similar to your shot Don. Wire fences and a destructive feel about it.
I have taken my time to comment in this picture because to me the lines are very strong and I see more geometric figures and lines, in a chaotic background... I like it!
These pictures are very difficult to find for me, and I like them a lot!! ...
Thanks guys. It's a transformer terminal for increasing voltage. It's the source of light and heat to thousands of people. It's amazing that it looks so ominous. We should all be laughing and smiling about it. What's wrong with us?
