Those of you that have been at Shuttertalk for a while have seen several shots that I have taken of this tree over the years. Somebody suggested that I do one for every season. Well, here's Autumn...

Beautiful! Smile
This has the same kind of magic as some of your urban high dynamic range photos.
Thank you, friends...
A very clever composition Toad.
Your tree doesn't look too yellow or redish to identify the season clearly and you have framed it with yellow leaves to stress the season....
Like a lot the framing with both trees... Your treatment specially in the clouds is wonderful... Love it... Like if the sky were painted.

Beautiful representation of this season... Smile
Thank you Irma.

For newer folks, a couple of other views of this tree are in these threads...

Received with interest mate!
Lovely stuff, nice composition.
Something that works for me if I don't convert the colours "autumny" enough: using the dodge tool on "highlight" at around 5% on the yellows and reds...gives 'em a nice glow....havent got time for posting an example at present but will do so soon(somewhere).
Very serene Toad, I like the framing with the leaves and branches.

Toad(et al):
Rather than hijack your thread, I've posted the example I referred to above in another("Dodging Autumn");
best of,

Shaun
Thanks folks - I will look at Zig's thread with interest also...
Nice! Like the series that was once in National Geographic and hanging on just about every student's wall when I was in uni, the four seasons of the tree. I love the clouds in the sky.
