can i get any ideas on to produce a better photo all your help will be greatful

Hello,

Is this suppose to be landscape or portrait? I had a quick go at it, and im hopeless at using photo soft ware, this is my 2nd time. Im going to have to learn soon though!

I think this may make it look worse!!! haha, ive look at it too much, i'll put it on here and come back in the morning and be able to judge properly

I wonder why, the portrait version looks far longer than the landscape one.
As though it has been stretched.
As far as the photo goes, nothing much wrong for me. Maybe the bright spot above the flower could be darkened or cloned out.
