Was making custom parts for the guns today and decided to "shoot" some, too.
This mini-1911 in .380ACP was made in Spain by Star and imported by InterArms in the mid-'90s.
Fits my hand really well and the ladies love it, too.



I wanted to try some different lighting ideas on this--not sure if I like the result or not.
Main flash is hitting a foamcore board in a 'ceiling' position 2ft up while another is gelled for color with a narrow spot grid to produce the red highlights and reflections.

The red on one side and green on the other makes me want to put on some 3d glasses, but I'm afraid that it'll pop out a shot

Here you would get about 6-years for that, but nice image with good light.
