Hey Everyone. I'm a photographer in Bermuda who wants to hook up with a good and active photography community. So I can learn new techniques and get a vide array of opnions of my photos.
I'm currently using The Olympus EVOLT E-510 digital SLR.

I've posted some of my pictures here!

Have a great day!

Hi Matt, welcome to Shuttertalk from another Olympus-using Matthew. (People will finally have to type my full name to distinguish between us.) I'm glad you found us; it's a smaller community but a diverse and very helpful one.

It's great to see your photos; very refreshing after so many months of snow where I am. The underwater photos are great, too -- I'm assuming those weren't taken with the E-510?
The underwater pictures were taken with an older Canon compact camera. My friend let me use it one day and I got a few good pictures. Do you know if Olympus plans to make an underwater casing for the 510?
Welcome to Shuttertalk... Smile

Very nice pictures in your gallery.
Hi;

I don't expect to see a housing for the E-510. There's one currently available for its smaller sibling, the E-410 ($900 for the case at B&H, and the camera is about to be replaced by the E-420) and the only other SLR they've made one for is the old E-330. They do have cases for a number of their point-and-shoot cameras, which don't give the same quality as a DSLR, but you can buy the Stylus 1030SW for about $400. It's waterproof to ten meters without a dive case. (The older 770SW is my 'vacation' camera.)
