If you'd waited for it to be sharp, you'd have missed the shot.

A goose chase!

I had a similar scene present itself to me, and I was as underlensed as I could possibly be -- I was shooting with an ultrawide. Sometimes, though -- like this photo -- getting the shot is enough to tell a great story.

Hah!! Great shot - soft - but it doesn't matter.
