a sleepy beautiful village.
I hope these pictures do it justice.

beautiful pictures each! I am not sure I would have stuck them together like this, I think they could be appreaciated more each as a single.

the look of the house reminds me of the villages in south Anhui, China, I visited recently.

I agree with Uli's comment about place them apart.

about the picture at the left.

It looks like a beautiful place, and I think you have a lot of great ideas in this image. However because of the centered composition I can not see what you want me to pay attention to. I see very interesting features as the cross and its reflection, and the spot of color with the branches of the tree, but somehow they are a bit lost.

I would suggest to crop out the blown out sky and a bit of the left side, just a bit to remove that door that is cropped anyway behind the tree. So then you would have a composition with the white door in the middle of the spot of color, the cross and its reflection.

Nice detail in the shadows you have here.

The one at the right.
Very nice picture. I see a lot of care for details. I like the lines too.
your not supposed to look at anything in particular but the colors.
the pictures dont look better on their own, I tried that to begin with, and I like the contrast of the life of the village.
