Well - a photo a little different than I normally take - I am curious what you will make of this. As always, critiques are extremely wellcome. If you hate it tell me, but also tell me why. Thanks Pavel

Simply beautiful! The colours are quite intriguing.Have you used a PS filter? I was expecting a portrait something in the manner of Yousuf Karsh, but I'll take what I can get. I am particularly pleased that the subject is out of focus. Regards.....Dennis
Thanks Dennis - Karsh may be OK with B&W, but I have him beat in colour (at least I do not think he has any colour photos, does he?) I think that having me in focus would have been too jarring for unsuspecting audience. No - no filters. I just blasted the colours that were there. Pavel
I think this is great. This works really well.
Thanks Zig. Pavel
Wow! It looks like you took that while attending a Rave with flashing UV lights on top of Uluru (Ayers Rock, the massive red rock in central Australia)! Big Grin Tongue

Great colours and I love the boldness of this shot. It works really well as your avatar too! Great job.
Thanks Kombi, I had fun with this one - a rare fit of boldness possessed me. I do like this image as an avatar, because it retains interest on small scale. Pavel
